According to a September 16 announcement by their agency, SM Entertainment, Girls’ Generation gave a concert in Indonesia at Meta Elang International Stadium in Jakarta on September 14 as part of their world tour. The female group performed 25 of their hit songs, including “Gee,” “Tell Me Your Wish,” “Hoot,” “Oh!,” “The Boys, “I Got A Boy,” and some singles they released in Japan, “Flower Power” and Paparazzi.”
An audience of 12,000 local fans attended the concert. They carried placards and pickets bearing words of encouragement for the Korean stars. When the girls performed “Baby Baby,” fans celebrated member Hyo Yeon’s birthday.
Girls’ Generation will continue their world concert tour at the Indoor Stadium in Singapore on October 12.
