Actor Lee Seo Jin was chosen as the “Teen Style Icon” at the ’2013 SIA.’
On October 24th, Lee Seo Jin won the “Teen Style Icon” award at the ’2013 Style Icon Awards (SIA),’ which was held at the CJ E&M Center in Sangamdong, Seoul.
Girls’ Generation Sunny had the privilege of announcing Lee Seo Jin’s award. She introduced him by saying, “While filming ‘Grandpas Over Flowers’ together with this person, I’ve come to know that this person is very friendly, polite, and well-mannered.” She also revealed, “I was even a little drawn to this side of him.”
Lee Seo Jin gave a wide toothy grin as he came onto the stage. There seemed to be a little bit of awkwardness and the two seemed shy.
Lee Seo Jin said, “When I first traveled with the ‘Grandpas Over Flowers’ staff, I never anticipated this kind of response. Thank you. It’s as if I’m traveling the world with these people.”
‘Style Icon Awards’ is a unique awards ceremony in Korea that promotes a new paradigm and style through broadcast, culture, and arts. It highlights figures that have influenced the public’s lifestyles.
The winner is chosen through online votes (30%), research preference (40%), and SIA judge scores (30%).
’2013 Style Icon Awards’ Ceremony was held at the CJ E&M Center in Sangamdong, Seoul on October 24th. It was broadcast on OnStyle, tvN, Mnet, XTM, Olive, and StoryOn. It was also broadcast live in 11 countries such as America and Australia through global channel Channel M and Mnet America.
