An 11 year old blind pianist touched the hearts of viewers.
On the 16th broadcast of SBS “Star King,” a born-blind pianist Yoo Ji Min performed for the audience on set.
Ji Min was never taught to play piano since birth. The precocious pianists’ ‘Freestyle Song’ left the audience in utter shock.
She also correctly guessed seven different keys, showing off her perfect pitch. The original star of the drama “Beethoven’s Virus” Seo Hee Tae also acknowledged her playing abilities.
On this day, Ji Min put the crowd to tears by playing her original piece “Mother.”
Girls’ Generation member Seohyun also added to the impact by singing along to Ji Min’s playing of the song “Magic Castle.”
