130103 SNSD’s Sunny’s Profanity-Laced Cap in ‘Dancing Queen’ MV Draws Controversy

A minor controversy has emerged over SNSD’s Sunny’s wardrobe choice in one of the group’s music videos.

Previously, SM Entertainment had released the music video Dancing Queen off of the fourth album on December 21.

Towards the conclusion of the music video however, a small preview of the group’s comeback title song, I Got a Boy is played while showing each of the members and the title song’s concept briefly.

However, at Sunny’s part, the SNSD member can briefly be seen wearing a cap which clearly reads, ‘WELCOME MOTHERF*CKERS’.

The hat does not make an appearance in the music video for I Got a Boy, though member Seohyun briefly wore a different, censored version of the hat.

Since the discovery, many netizens have been expressing their discomfort and criticism of the fashion choice saying things like, “SNSD has many young and teenaged fans so it’s unfortunate to see the group wear something like this” and “It doesn’t even fit with SNSD’s image.”
