121004 SNSD’s Sooyoung Beats A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji

Last week’s K-Pop Battle has officially ended, which means we have to declare another winner!

We’ve tallied the votes from our idol star actresses battle, featuring Girls’ Generation (SNSD)’s Sooyoung and A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji, and it appears the power of SNSD fans can’t be beat just yet.

Despite Jung Eun Ji’s rising popularity since starring in tvN’s Reply 1997, it was SNSD’s Sooyoung, star of new tvN drama The Third Hospital, who came out on top in last week’s K-Pop Battle.

The competition was closer than previous battles, but Sooyoung still managed to pull the majority, accounting for 59 percent of readers’ votes, while Jung Eun Ji put up a good fight, recording 41 percent of the votes.

This means Sooyoung advances to the next round to battle it out with a different set of stars for the title of K-Pop Star of the Month, and, ultimately, K-Pop Star of the Year.
