131023 SNSD Yuri Talks About Kiss Scenes for "No Breathing"

Spoiler alert for those who intend to wait for “No Breathing” to hit theaters or be available online in your respective country or region! Girls’ Generation member Yuri and her fellow co-stars recently attended the premiere of “No Breathing” and the press conference that accompanied it.

At the press conference, a reporter asked Yuri if she would have wanted a kiss scene with either of her romantic interests, Seo In Guk or Lee Jong Suk, in the movie, “No Breathing” – since there were no kiss scenes involving her character in the movie.

Yuri replied jokingly, “To be honest, I can’t tell you if there aren’t any.” She then went on to explain, “Instead of a kiss scene, we had a lot of scene shots that made up for that. No matter what the scene asked of us, we always had fun shooting it.”

“No Breathing” is a movie about two competitive swimmers who fall in love with their female childhood friend and become rivals as they pursue their dream of being number one. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on October 30!

On October 20th, Yuri uploaded two photos onto her Instagram with the caption, “November’s Cosmopolitan.”

In the photos, Yuri is preparing for her photo shoot, and is wearing heavy make-up. She looks as if she’s satisfied with her appearance, and looks lax in the photo. She shows off her wavy hair, prominent nose, her V-line chin, and flawless white skin in this photo that highlights her mature beauty.

What’s most noteworthy are her intense eye makeup and bright red lipstick, which focus on her sexy image, and is the finishing touch to her femme fatale transformation.

131015 SNSD World Tour in Singapore Press Conference – What Kind of Fans Attract Their Attention?

Girls’ Generation was in Singapore over the weekend for their “2013 Girls’ Generation World Tour – Girls & Peace – in Singapore” concert and met with the local media briefly two hours before their concert. Read on to find out who the peacemaker among the nine young ladies is and what kinds of fans attract their attention.

MC : How do you feel being in Singapore again?
Sooyoung : It’s always good to be back in Singapore. Nice weather, wonderful fans, chili crab (laughs), so I’m very excited to share this experience again with our Singaporean fans tonight.

MC : How will this show be different, and how have you grown from your 2011 concert here?
Sunny : We have adopted the hologram concept in our tour, so I hope our fans will feel more excited and enjoy our concert. We hope to engage more of our fans. Over the two years, we definitely had more experience at concerts, so we would be a lot more fun, and we hope our fans will enjoy as well.

MC : XinMSN asks, “What is the most fun you had preparing for the ‘Girls & Peace’ world tour?”
YoonA : Definitely would be our final rehearsal. During our final rehearsal, we were trying out what our fans would be enjoying during our concert. So it was very exciting and interesting how our fans would react at our real concert, so I hope our excitement will reach out to our fans, and I hope that they can have fun.

MC : Teen Magazine asks, “Your concert tour is titled ‘Girls & Peace,’ so who is the peacemaker in the group?”
Yuri : That’s me.

MC : Teen Magazine asks, “What kind of fans would you notice most in a concert?”
Tiffany : Personally, I think the fans that dressed up exactly the way we do are noticed because we like to see how detailed their outfits are. It’s fun to see a group of fans dressed up as each oen of us, play the roles, and dance to our music and songs.

MC: MeRadio asks, “YoonA, Yuri, Soo Young, and most recently, Seo Hyun have debuted in acting. Are the rest of the members interested in acting as well? What kind of roles would you like to try out?”
Tiffany : I think a lot of our members are very open to acting and musicals. Personally, I think it’d be cool if we do more musicals as well, but more of an action or spy film; it would be quite a challenge, and it would show a different side of Girls’ Generation.

MC: Zaobao asks, “It has been six years since Girls’ Generation debuted, and they had created numerous records and achievements. What are the most memorable or important moments to the ladies?”
YoonA: In terms of music, I’d definitely say it was when we were doing “Gee.” Thanks to a lot of our fans, we received a lot of love, and we were very grateful. In terms of concert moments, it was definitely the very first concert. We have a lot of experiences at various places, but the very first concert is something that we cannot forget.

MC : Please say something nice to our Singaporean fans.
Taeyeon : We are always so happy to be in Singapore for our world tour. We prepared a lot, and we hope the fans enjoy our concert as much as we enjoy meeting them. We have been to many different places, and every concert is memorable to us. I hope our fans will enjoy tonight’s show.

Girls’ Generation sub-unit TaeTiSeo (Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun) released a video message for their fans in Singapore.

On October 13, the official Youtube channel of MBC Korean Music Wave released a video of the three Girls’ Generation members, greeting their fans in Singapore and inviting them for the upcoming large-scale concert.

Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun will host the upcoming MBC Korean Music Wave in Singapore to be held on November 16 at 7PM (KST) at the Gardens By The Bay.

131013 Top Korean Girl Group Girls’ Generation Shows Their Unique Personalities At 2013 GIRLS’ GENERATION World Tour – Girls & Peace – in Singapore Press Conference

Girls’ Generation consisting of nine members, Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Soo Young, YoonA and Seohyun, met up with the media for an exclusive press conference held at Grand Copthorne Waterfront on October 12. They displayed high energy throughout the press conference and showed off their charms to those who were present. They talked about their second concert in Singapore, fans that caught their eye and the projects they would love to try next.

Girls’ Generation showed their love for Singapore as they started off the press conference telling the crowd how they feel about being finally backed in Singapore. Soo Young exclaimed that “It’s always great to be back in Singapore, nice weather, wonderful fans, chilli crab (laughs)”, showing her undying love for the local delicacy.

Upon the question on how this year’s show will be different as compared to the past, Sunny shared, “We have adopted the hologram concept in our previous tour and hoped our fans are excited”. She continued that “Over the two years, we definitely have more concert experience so we hope to have a lot more fun and hope our fans enjoy as well.” Bringing much excitement on how amazing the concert will be.

Seohyun also shared that the “final rehearsal when we were trying to do something for our fans” to be the most fun moments during the preparation for the Girls & Peace World Tour. She added that she hoped her excitement for the concert would reach out to the fans.

During the press conference, each member showed off their hilarious personalities. When asked who was the peace maker in the group, Yuri quickly picked up her microphone and exclaimed “That’s me!” reeling in much laughter to the crowd and even to the other members, with some shaking their head jokingly in disagreement.

It is well known that different members are trying out different fields, such as acting and musicals. Recently, Seohyun is making her debut screen through the drama, ‘Passionate Love’ bringing in much excitement for fans as well as netizens, awaiting to see how the youngest will portray her role. On the other hand, Yuri and Hyoyeon are trying out to be a mentor judge for the new dancing show, Dancing 9. Hence, many are wondering what the girls are actually interested to try out in the future. Tiffany responded and shared that “It would be cool if we did more musicals as well, but more like an action-typed of film, more marvel or more spy-ish type of films.”. Saying how these roles would be more of a challenge and enable the public to see a different side to Girls’ Generation.

Debuting in 2007, Girls’ Generation have a very steady and dedicated pool of fans, called SONE which have showered the girls with many love and support throughout their time as Girls’ Generation. When asked which type of fans they usually remember or notice, Tiffany laughed and exclaimed that “I think fans that dressed up exactly the way we do, because we like to see how detailed their outfits are.” She continued that it’s always fun to see a group of fans dressed up as each member and play the roles.

Being active for almost six years now, they have had many concerts and live performances around the world, conquering Asia, America as well as Europe, showing how big and diverse their pool of fans are. When asked about what are the most memorable moments, YoonA shared that “In terms of music, I would definitely say Gee, thanks to the fans we received lots of love”. She continued, “In terms of concert, the very first time was the most unforgettable.”

The girls then ended off the press conference with the leader, Taeyeon concluding that she hoped the fans would enjoy the concert and shared that, “We are always happy to be here in Singapore as part of our world tour. We did a lot of protestation and hope that our fans enjoy our concert as much as we enjoy meeting them.”

October 12, marked the second Girls’ Generation’s tour in Singapore, the first being in 2011, almost two years ago. Girls & Peace World Tour concert, which was held on the same day, October 12, at Singapore Indoor Stadium at 6pm reeled in 8000 audience size, showing the support of their dedicated fans.

EXO members’ ‘windmill dance’ video was released, catching much attention.

In a recent CF (commercial) with EXO, the members revealed a synchronized ‘windmill dance.’ It went up to 45,000 clicks as soon as it was uploaded on YouTube.

The commercial was for the cellphone network company SK Telecom, advertising ‘LTE’s endless power.’

Girls’ Generation’s Yoona and f(x)’s Sulli also came out in the video, making the video even more famous. The two first watched EXO members dance, then joined them for a joint performance.

131008 SNSD Seohyun Acting in Car Accident Scene for ‘Passionate Love’ a Hit with the Viewers

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, who successfully tried her hand at acting in “Passionate Love”, receives high praise from viewers.

In the October 6th episode of SBS’ “Passionate Love,” Seohyun was riding along with her father Han Sung Bok (played by actor Kang Shin Il) in his car when they got into a car accident.

Preceding this scene, president Yang Tae Shin left a handwritten will for Han Sung Bok. Moon Do, who found out this news, struggled to keep president Yang’s will a secret so that it wouldn’t be revealed.

Right about this time, Han Bong Suk fled from Moon Do with his two daughters Yoo Rim (played by Seohyun) and Yoo Jung (played by Lee Hye In) in his car. During the chase, the car was overturned, and Seohyun met her death on the scene.

From her first appearance on the show as Kang Shin Il’s daughter, Seohyun acted very well, and received praise from the viewers. She really showed her natural acting skills in this car accident scene, and exceeded the viewers’ expectations.

Upon hearing about Seohyun leaving the show through her death in the drama, fans commented, “It’s unfortunate that Seohyun is leaving ‘Passionate Love,” “Seohyun acted really well in this serious role,” and “We’re bound to see Seohyun in another work very soon.”

Girls’ Generation member Seohyun and Lee Won Geun captivated the audience with their sweet first kiss.

In the October 6th episode of SBS’ “Passionate Love,” Yoo Rim (played by Seohyun) and Moo Yeol (played by Lee Won Geun) shared their first kiss scene on screen, and attracted attention from the viewers.

In this episode, Moo Yeol decided to take a break from Yoo Rim until he could stand confidently in front of her. However, Yoo Rim appeared in Moo Yeol’s dreams wearing a white dress.

In his dream, Yoo Rim showed her gratitude for his gift and said, “Thank you for the present. I came to say this. I have a gift for you, too.”

While Moo Yeol was speechless, Yoo Rim first moved towards Moo Yeol and planted a sweet kiss on his lips, leaving him surprised. The first love between Moo Yeol and Yoo Rim and their first kiss made for a lively romantic scene. However the moment didn’t last long when Yoo Rim said, “Moo Yeol, good-bye!” and left his side.

To this Moo Yeol shouted, “Yoo Rim, don’t go!” but Yoo Rim left. Waking up from this bad dream, Moo Yeol picked up Yoo Rim’s phone call, in which she was trembling in fear, and immediately raced to her side.

However, before Moo Yeol even got to her side, the car containing Yoo Rim and her family was involved in a car accident, ending on an unfortunate note for the two lovers.

On November 15th, it was revealed that SNSD's Sunny has been chosen to dub for the upcoming animation movie 'RIO 2' together with ZE:A's Siwan. Sunny will be the one behind the voice of Jewel, while Siwan will take the role of Blu.

'RIO 2' is set to be released in Korea on the 24th of April, and it will be about "Blu, Jewel and their three kids living the perfect domesticated life in the magical city that is Rio de Janeiro. When Jewel decides the kids need to learn to live like real birds, she insists the family venture into the Amazon. As Blu tries to fit in with his new neighbors, he worries he may lose Jewel and the kids to the call of the wild".
