Right after the shocking news broke out today regarding the relationship of labelmates SNSD’s Taeyeon and EXO’s Baekhyun, fans are quick to dig out what clues/hints the couple has been showing which they failed to catch in the span of 4 months.

Fans started on March 9, where Taeyeon celebrated her birthday at Inkigayo and Baekhyun was the one who gladly handed out her cake. The two were apparently dating back then already. In addition to that, there are couple items found on each party such as sunglasses, bracelets, and headphones.

The latest would be Taeyeon’s recent post on her intagram which is a photo of two oreos with the caption, “Also today, with no fail, I’m going crazy because of you #oreo”. In reference to this, fans looked back and connected it to Baekhyun’s birthday cake which has oreo on it as well. The photo of Baekhyun’s cake was posted through Sehun’s instagram.

Lastly, fans seem to know the couple name is ‘Taeng Kung’ as Taeyeon and Baekhyun call each other ‘Taeng-gu’ and Bae-kyung’ as nicknames. A photo of which served as a clue was posted on Taeyeon’s instagram as she cutely wrote, “TaengKyung Very Much” below a photo of a customized Starbucks mug with her face on it.

After unexpected news of Girls’ Generation Taeyeon’s relationship with EXO’sBaekhyun broke out yesterday, many fans have expressed their point of view on the matter. It seems that Taeyeon felt the need to address fans about it, and took to her Instagram to do so.

In the comments section of her Instagram account, Taeyeon expressed, “Sone. You were very surprised and hurt because of me today, right..I’m so sorry for making you feel feelings that you didn’t have to, and the news that came out today because I wasn’t a bit more careful. I really wanted to apologize. I’m really sorry for hurting you..”

She continued, “I think you feel many different feelings, like disappointment, anger, hatred, frustration, and dejection..I can accept it all and I want to apologize because, I don’t know if it’s just what I think, but you must have liked, trusted, supported, and put just as much effort and strength [into me] as well.

In the next comments, she wrote, “No matter what I say right now, it could all be interpreted differently..I’m not trying to explain myself, I just want to say something so that you can stop getting hurt at least one day earlier..about the things I post on Instagram, for which I had absolutely no such intentions. Things like, ‘I must have enjoyed posting such obvious pictures,’ and ‘I ridiculed the fans.’ There seems to be a lot of people who think this way so I wanted to let you know that was never my intention or goal..”

It appears that many fans began to suspect Taeyeon and Baekhyun of posting covert pictures and messages, connecting their Instagram posts to one another. Some even believed the two were purposely doing it to ridicule their fans, but Taeyeon wanted to explain that was not her intention at all.

Dispatch broke news yesterday that Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and EXO’s Baekhyun had been in a relationship for over 4 months.

Now, Dispatch has released a Q&A on what they know about the idol couple.

It has been 7 years since Taeyeon debuted as the lead vocal position in Girls’ Generation, while it has only been 2 years since Baekhyun’s debut as an EXO member.

While SM Entertainment is known for strict rules amongst seniors and trainees, Dispatch asks the question, “How was it possible for these two love birds to date?”

How did they meet? When did they meet? What did they do? What do they call each other? Dispatch has pointed out and answered some of the questions fans might be curious about.

When did Taeyeon and Baekhyun started to have feelings for each other?
Dispatch: They first met in 2011 when Baekhyun became an SM Entertainment’s trainee. Since then, they have developed a bond with the things they have in common. They really began to develop serious feelings for each other last year and started dating this February.

What attracted them to each other?

Dispatch: Baekhyun was outspoken on his fandom for Taeyeon since his trainee period. Taeyeon cared most about Baekhyun out of all the EXO members. She was attracted to his persistence in effort, despite his cute looks. There are rumours that she would sometimes watch him practice whenever he stayed in late. Taeyeon has been a good mentor for Baekhyun as well.

Do they have nicknames for each other?
Dispatch: They call themselves “Taengkoong” couple. “Taeng” comes from Taeyeon’s nickname “Taenggu” and “Koong” comes from Baekhyun’s nickname “Baekoong.” Taeyeon calls Baekhyun “Baekyung” and “Baekoong” and Baekhyun calls Taeyeon “Taeyeon” and “Taenggu” despite Taeyeon being 3 years older.

Did fans realise their relationship even before yesterday’s official statement?

Although they have busy schedules as international K-POP idols, Dispatch has noticed them together on dates five times over the last month. When they were both in Korea, they usually met late at night or early in the morning. But when they had schedules overseas, they met earlier and for a longer period of time.

Where did they usually meet?
Dispatch: Most of times, they met in Taeyeon’s car (Mercedes-Benz SLK 55AMG). Since many people know Taeyeon and Baekhyun in Korea, they were very cautious when meeting in the city and were never seen in coffee shops. When they had no schedules, they would make a short driving trip to outskirts of Seoul.

Media outlet “Dispatch” has dropped quite the news today as they have unleashed their exclusive report pertaining to an alleged relationship between SM Entertainment artists EXO“s Baekhyun and Girls” Generation“s Taeyeon!

“Dispatch” says that the two have been dating for 4 months now in the utmost secrecy. It”s said the reporters from the media outlet first spotted them while EXO was practicing for their first concert. It”s said Taeyeon provided moral support for the exhausted Baekhyun, who had to spend nights practicing due to the group”s redoing of their choroegraphy and recording with Kris”s lawsuit.

Taeyeon headed towards Baekhyun”s dorm and picked him up at a discreet location and enjoyed a date in the car. It”s said “Dispatch” spotted them on several dates including before the concert as well as after the concert on the 26th and on the 28th before Girls” Generation”s leave for Japan. Baekhyun would also meet Taeyeon near her dorm as well.
