Girls” Generation”s Sunny and Bae Chul Soo will host the joint radio show special “Turn Up Your Radio” featuring a talented lineup in honor of the opening ofMBC“s new headquarters in Sangamdong, Seoul!

MBC will hold a video broadcast of joint radio show special “Turn Up Your Radio” starting on September 4 at 7:30 PM KST in the form of a concert. “Bae Chul Soo”s Music Camp” DJ Bae Chul Soo and “Sunny”s FM Date” DJ Sunny will join forces as the MCs of this special.

Viewers will be able to watch various collab performances by other sunbae or hoobae radio DJs like Cho Young Nam, Yang Hee Eun, Epik High“s Tablo, Younha, SHINee“s Jonghyun, Jung Joon Young, and Kim Shin Young. The full lineup will be unveiled on the 22nd.

You can apply for tickets to the show via the MBC homepage from August 12-21. The winners will be announced on August 22.

140814 Girls” Generation”s members star in new reality show

Cable channel On Style is launching a new reality show called “The Taetiseo”.

The program features the day-to-day life of Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun, members of the Girls” Generation“s sub-unit group.

The show starts Aug. 25 at 11 p.m.

“The program will thoroughly analyze everything from cosmetic know-how to the fashion style of the members, as they always receive the spotlight wherever they go”, said the channel yesterday in a release.

“The program will answer many questions fans may have had, such as what they do when they are not working, and where they go when they get together to rest”.

The program is the second show of the channel”s “Real Star” program, followed by “Jessica and Krystal“, which featured a more down-to-earth side of the sibling. Jessica is a member of Girls” Generation and Krystal is a member of f(x).

140810 Girls’ Generation Yuri Wants You to “Ride with Me” in Recent Selca

Girls’ Generation Yuri shared a photo that revealed her enthusiasm for bike riding.

On August 7, Yuri put a photo on her Instagram with the caption, “ride with me.” In the photo Yuri is decked out in biking gear, complete with biking gloves. She looks like she’s taking a rest from a biking session at a scenic park near the Han river. Although her nearly makeup-less face is a change from her performance look, Yuri still looks quite lovely.

Yuri and her other members will be featured in a special Girls’ Generation photo book called “Girls’ Generation in Las Vegas” and the book will be released on August 25.

140810 Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon Has Some Fun in Recent Selca

There might be some truth to the saying, “Blonde girls have more fun,” as Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon showed just how much fun she can have while taking some photos of herself.

Hyoyeon’s Instagram post on August 9 featured a four-piece selca showing the singer having fun with the camera. Calling her set of selcas the “V edition,” the light haired Hyoyeon tried her best to come up with cute poses for the camera as she flashed the V sign.

140810 Actor Kwak Do Won Gives Up Being a Fan of Girls’ Generation Leader Taeyeon

After expressing his interest and affection towards Girls’ Generation leaderTaeyeon in various interviews and not getting any response, it seems that “Tazza 2” actor Kwak Do Won is finally letting go of his hopes of the singer noticing him.

On the August 10 episode of MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment News,” Kwak Do Won mentioned that he will stop his fascination with Taeyeon.

“I’m putting an end to it,” said Kwak Do Won when asked by reporter Park Seul Ki about his affection towards Taeyeon.

“I have talked about her a number of times on different interviews but there’s no response,” said Kwak Do Won with a bitter expression on his face.

Kwak Do Won has been very vocal of his affection towards Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon and has even sang along to TaeTiSeo‘s “Twinkle” on an episode of the SBS drama, “Phantom.”

Meanwhile, Kwak Do Won will be making his big screen comeback together withBIGBANG’s T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun) and Shin Se Kyung, among other artists, with the movie, “Tazza 2″ which will premiere on September.

140810 SNSD Taeyeon says Heechul is the best at imitating her voice in an interview on “Hidden Singer 3″

Taeyeon picked Heechul as the one who does his best when it comes to imitating her voice.

In the broadcast of jTBC”s “Hidden Singer 3″ on August 9th, Taeyeon was asked in an interview that if there”s someone who has immitated her voice before, in which she answered,”There hasn”t anyone who has imitated me seriously. My colleagues only imitate me as a joke while drinking”.

Then Taeyeon was asked who does it best and she immediately replie it”s Heechul. She also chose “Can You Hear Me” which was her OST from “Beethoven Virus” as the most difficult song for her to sing and even said Heechul also imitated the song a lot.

“Hidden Singer 3″ is expected to broadcast on August 16th.

Girls” Generation took a snapshot with American film director Brett Ratner, who tweeted that the nine girls were his favorite K-pop group!

The director tweeted on August 11, “My favorite K-pop singers Girls” Generation,” along with the photo below. It seems he met Tiffany, Sunny, Yuri,Jessica, Seohyun, and Hyoyeon from the girl group at “KCON 2014“.

140806 Krystal Prepares a Surprise for Jessica on Last Episode of “Jessica & Krystal”

Krystal of girl group f(x) recently made her older sister Jessica (Girls Generation) cry, on the last episode of OnStyle’s “Jessica & Krystal,” which aired on August 5,

Krystal and Jessica were enjoying a vacation in a Seoul hotel, and Krystal entered the room first as she had prepared a surprise event for Jessica. Krystal worried whether or not Jessica would be moved.

Jessica entered the room without knowing anything, and she started looking for Krystal since she didn’t see her. Krystal said to Jessica through her phone, “I am hiding behind a curtain.” After hearing what Krystal had said, Jessica opened up the curtain.

The scene unfolding in front of Jessica’s eyes surprised her. There were pictures of all of the memories from filming “Jessica & Krystal” posted on the window behind the curtain. When Jessica thought of all of the memories she had with Krystal, she burst into tears. There was a note from Krystal that stated “I feel very reassured that you are always by my side. I am also on your side. I am always thankful. Now let’s stop crying.”

In the end, Krystal appeared in front of Jessica. The two sisters hugged each other and endlessly cried. Jessica asked Krystal about preparing the event, and Krystal stated “I have always liked writing letters. What I can’t easily express in words I can express myself through letters.”

Jessica, who couldn’t stop her tears, stated “It feels like saying that I’m busy with work is an excuse. I have been neglecting the person I am closest with. I have to do better. Therefore I am even more sorry.”

Jessica continued “The time we have to meet isn’t a lot, but there will be more time in the future. We will become freer. Since we can’t spend a lot of time together, I want to do better with the time we have. I want to talk with you more and tease you some more.”
