On the September 7 broadcast of MBC’s “Section TV,” the cast of the new Wednesday-Thursday drama “My Spring Day”—Kam Woo Sung, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, Lee Joon Hyuk, and Jang Shin Young—sat down for an interview for the entertainment news program.
During the interview, Sooyoung shared, “All the [Girls’ Generation] members want to visit the filming set but it might be hard because it’s only the beginning.”
In response to this, her co-star Kam Woo Sung playfully expressed, “The further we go, the busier we get. You have to invite them quickly.” The actor then sent the members of Girls’ Generation a short video message: “I would appreciate it if you came [to the set].”
On the other hand, actor Lee Joon Hyuk stated, “I’ve always liked Sooyoung from Girls’ Generation, so I’m fully satisfied.”
In the same interview, Kam Woo Sung talked about acting in a melodrama production. After receiving a compliment that he is one of the greatest melodrama actors, Kam Woo Sung confessed, “Melodramas are the most burdensome and difficult. I’m sometimes influenced depending on my partner’s condition. It’s really difficult to maintain trust with my counterparts.”
Meanwhile, “My Spring Day” is set to premiere this coming September 10.
