Girl group Girls” Generation held their third Japan arena tour and set the new K-Pop girl group record for the most fans to attend their tour.
On July 11-13, Girls” Generation held their “GIRLS” GENERATION~LOVE&PEACE~Japan 3rd Tour” finale in Tokyo.
This tour began on April 26 in Fukuoka and continued on to Hiroshima, Kobe, Nagoya, Osaka and more for a total of 7 cities and 17 concerts. This tour brought in 200,000 fans, showing their immense popularity.
With all three of their Japan arena tours combined, they have held 51 concerts and met with a total of 550,000 fans, making this the record for most fans in attendance for a Korean girl group.
The group performed many of their hit songs from “I Got A Boy”, “GENIE”, “Gee” and more for a total of 28 songs in 3 hours.
They also performed for the first time their song, “Indestructible,” which will release on July 23.
