From UNIQLO to Calvin Klein, from baseball to being casted in a new drama, it’s another week of exclusive and fun events for Girls’ Generation.
Throughout the whole week, members Tiffany, Yoona, Sunny, Hyoyeon, and Yuri attended various fashion events on behalf of their group. On August 27, Tiffany attended the Kio Yamato x Woori Limited Edition Eyewear launch event, while Yoona attended the Calvin Klein Flagship Store’s First Anniversary on the 28, and Hyoyeon with the UNIQLO Fall/Winter Silk and Cashmere Press Event.
The week eventually ended off with Yuri donning Canadian winterwear at the Moose Knuckles Store Launch Event on the 30 and Yoona and Sunny making an appearance at the L’inoui Opening Ceremony the next day.
In addition to the fashion-frenzied week, brand SOUP released behind-the-scene footage of Jessica’s photoshoot as well as a new photo.

On the other hand, Taeyeon, who is known for her milky white skin, was chosen as Nature Republic’s new model alongside labelmates EXO. In hopes of using both artists, Nature Republic plans to utilize their global popularity to raise awareness within the brand.
However, that isn’t the only thing going on for Taeyeon this week. As a matter of fact, it seems like it’s Taeyeon and Seohyun’s week.
With Despicable Me 2 coming out in theaters, South Korea’s own Margot and Edith has made various television appearances; one of which involves the both of them playing ball on the field!
Earlier this week, Taeyeon and Seohyun participated in the opening ceremony at the LG Twins and Nexen Heroes baseball game. Pulling off the home team LG Twins jersey, Taeyeon threw the opening pitch with Seohyun batting up.
The leader and the maknae (“youngest”) also made appearances in “Entertainment Weekly” and SBS’ “Laws of the Jungle” to promote the film their voices star in.
In addition, it was announced that Seohyun was casted in SBS’ upcoming drama “Passionate Love” as Han Yurim, the smart and intelligent first love of the male lead.
Well, that’s it for this week with Girls’ Generation! Check back next week to see what’s up!
