SM Entertainment will be opening a SMtown museum in LA and is gaining much attention.
On August 8, the LA Times released an article and stated, “It usually takes years to create a museum that will become settled and known to the public. But, this new ‘hallyu’ will be able to show their incredible power through this museum in Koreatown. This museum will play a bridge role for K-Pop in the U.S.”
Another site, The Hollywood Reporter, also stated, “SM Entertainment was known for K-Pop in the 90s. This museum will become their next step in the future of SM.”
The museum will be built in Koreatown and will be filled with many different cultural content about Korea.
They will also have a restaurant, entertainment space, holograms and other exciting experiences.
