130516 SNSD Yuri will star in the upcoming movie titled 'No Breathing'

Girls' Generation's Yuri is taking her acting career to the next level!

After starring in the drama 'Fashion King' last year, Yuri is now ready to make her big screen debut through the movie titled 'No Breathing', a swimming themed movie that will revolve around the story of love and rivalry among competitive swimmers.

In the movie, Yuri will play the lead role and she will portray the girl named 'Jung Eun', a girl who dreams of becoming a musician. She is very laid back, and boasts an ability to contain much emotion in her songs. In addition to that, Yuri will also have a love triangle with her childhood friends in the movie which will be played by the actors Lee Jong Suk and Seo In Guk.

Yuri also expressed, "I'm happy I'll be able to show something new about myself through film. I came to like the character after reading the scenario for 'No Breathing', and I started to feel like acting. I'll work hard to make the movie a good piece.".
They will start filming on the 19th and the movie is scheduled to be released in theaters later this year.
