Girls′ Generation (SNSD) member Tiffany is up to bat as the next Korean celebrity after Psy to meet with the LA Dodgers.
The singer will be throwing the first ball on the mound of the LA Dodgers Stadium.
Tiffany will be pitching her ball at the game between the LA Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks to be held on May 6.
The LA Dodgers had sent an offer to SNSD, asking the biggest girl group in Korea, also popular around the world, to throw the first ball. Tiffany will be appearing as the representative of her group.
As Ryu Hyun Jin, the Korean baseball player who has been playing with the LA Dodgers, is known to be a fan of SNSD, the throw is also meant to cheer him on. The baseball player will be helping Tiffany as the catcher this day.
Many famed world stars such as Victoria Beckham, Sharon Stone, Harrison Ford and Matthew McConahuy have previously pitched at the LA Dodgers Stadium.
Tiffany will leave for America for the pitch and for a photo shoot on May 4.
