After showing her acting potential in the drama “The Third Hospital,” Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung will once again show her acting talents through the new tvN drama “Dating Agency: Cyrano”!
Based on the popular webtoon “Cyrano Agency,” “Dating Agency: Cyrano” will be about a matchmaking agency that helps people find love. The drama will have a total of sixteen episodes and will also serve as the prequel to the Korean film “Cyrano: Dating Agency,” which starred Lee Minjung and Uhm Taewoong.
Sooyoung’s character in the drama will be Gong Minyoung, who works at the dating agency. In addition to Sooyoung, actor Lee Jonghyuk, who is well-known for his role in the highly popular drama “A Gentleman’s Dignity,” will also be part of the main cast. He will play the male protagonist, Seo Byunghoon, who is the manager of the dating agency. Arrogant and temperamental, Seo Byunghoon involves himself in the dating business in order to save his deceased friend’s theater business.
Actor Lee Chunhee will also be in “Dating Agency: Cyrano.” His character, Cha Seungpyo, is a local chef who is secretive about his past.
