According to a source from the show, the episode featuring SNSD will be broadcast on March 24 at 11 p.m. Jounetsu-Tairiku is a Japanese program that follows individuals from all walks of life, including popular Japanese celebrities, for 100 days to one year.
SNSD is the first K-Pop group to be featured on the show, as the girl group crossed over to Japan and achieved top star status before the hallyu boom took over the country.
According to the show, the episode, which is set to air next week, will show scenes from the girls’ appearances on Korean music programs to the circumstances surrounding their training as well as footage from the group’s current Japan tour.
The program’s charm is found in the various aspects of the stars’ lives it attempts to show, and fans are already anticipating seeing a more real side to the girls, from their flashy performances on stage to the tears shed by the members when the cameras aren’t rolling as well as scenes from the girls’ everyday lives.
SNSD is currently traversing Japan on an arena tour and is set to meet with 200,000 fans along the way.
