She has fast risen to become the starlet of today’s generation of 20-somethings, so it’s no wonder singer and actress Yoona has been nominated for a 20’s Choice Award this year.
Although Yoona made her debut as a member of today’s hottest girl group and this year’s 20’s Global Star nominee Girls’ Generation (SNSD), she has managed to bring the boys out on her own as an actress.
The 20’s Drama Star nominee made her acting debut in 2007, but 2008 KBS dramaYou Are My Destiny made her, or Sae Byuk, shall we say, a household name, and all eyes have been on Yoona since.
In fact, despite her latest drama Love Rain having weathered low ratings and recently run into legal issues, Yoona’s every move and utterance in the drama managed to drive viewers wild during its run.
We know she’s a favorite to take home the 20’s Drama Star award, but is it too soon for Yoona to be preparing an acceptance speech? Stay tuned until the big show to find out!
